Now two countries of the European Union have declared “Sunday” as the national day of rest.Croatia passed it as law effective January 1, 2009 after a long campaign by the Catholic Church. Germany reconfirmed it as law beginning of 2010, although it has been on the books for many decades. Their reasoning is that it is the proper day of rest and gathering for Christians to worship. As time goes quickly by, I believe we shall see many other EU countries fall into line in these laws.
In their article “Papal Rome and the European Union” Richard Bennett and Michael De Semlyen said “The Vatican has been the most powerful institution in Europe, and although it’s influence declined at the time of the Reformation, it has made significant recovery in the past two centuries. The Protestant nations of Europe that were religiously, polictically, and economically freed from totalitarian Roman Church, seem now to be blindly returning to her yoke”
Make no mistake Rome will continue her influence on the EU. The Pope has said MANY times one of his supreme goals is to get “Sunday” worship observed around the WORLD! The beginning bolts are in place with Germany and Croatia. I believe this will spread to other EU countries. We don’t know the time table but once this happens and ALL EU countries will have “Sunday” laws, it will then undoubtably go to the US.
Keep watching EU as this is the “start” of the final world mandated Sunday law(as phophesied in Bible) and then the true choice for the day of “worship” must be made and it MUST be for God’s holy day and not “man’s” holy day.
It is interesting to note that all the EU countries have calenders that show “Sunday” as the seventh day. Being set-up for when it is proclaimed that it is “God’s seventh day” instead of the real Biblical seventh day. The US has not adopted this calender—-yet.

Hey man I just wanted to check in and see how you’re doing.
This huge earthquake in Haiti has got me thinking…ya know…as the signs increase in frequency.
Just a few days ago there was a 6.5-magnitude earthquake just off the shore of Northern California.
Time will tell if this trend will continue…maybe you could post a quick report about these incidents and the scriptures correlating to the natural disasters we’re seeing at such an alarming rate.

He has succeeded to a large degree already in convincing the world that “Sunday” is the correct day to worship. Soon he’ll take it a step further and convince the ALL nations that it’s in our best interest to worship “God” on his substitute day. I believe disasters or some miracle sign will happen to cause people to look for answers and they’ll look to God. And because Sunday is now accepted as the true day of worship, it’ll be a “natural” occurance to suggest and ultimately inforce Sunday worship. Yes Allen I will. I think that first a series of “Natrual” disasters will come and really “scare” the people. Then we will all look to God for answers. Then the “Babylon preachers” (ie.Sunday worshippers) will join in unison across the world, calling people into church on Sunday. Which won’t be hard to do, due to the extreme fear abounding. It’ll all fall into place just as foretold. The only part of the puzzle I can’t figure out is the Muslim people, where do they fit in? Do they make peace with Christians?

I think the 7th day churches should really be alarmed when the US adopt the calendar use by the EU countries. Seventh day sabbathkeepers will then be keeping Sunday, the seventh day, holy. Ellen White says, “When SUNDAY OBSERVANCE shall be enforced by law………those who continue in transgression will receive “the mark of the beast.”” In Ellen White’s day and our present day, Sunday is the first day in the US. When America change the calendar, Monday will be the first day, Sunday the seventh day. It is Sunday observance we should be aware of. Satan wants worship. Almost, the whole world will then be worshipping on the day of the sun!
We need to consider God’s calendar when determining our holy days so we will not be caught in the snare of satan. He has deceived the whole world. Please dissect these scriptures. Gensis 1:14, Lev. 23:1-3 and Psalms 104:19 please reply

Everyone is concerned about keeping God’s Biblical seventh day Sabbath and rightly so. However, He also says “Do not worship as the pagans do.” right? Well, Do you observe Christmas? That is a pagan holiday. Look it up. Do you observe Easter? That is also a pagan holiday. Look it up also. God says to observe HIS appointed times. Look it up in Leviticus. Why observe SOME of His commandments and not all of them?? Please reply.

Esther, you are right. Sunday keeping along with Easter and Christmas are all in the same boat. They are all the product of the tradition of men ignoring the commandments of God.
However, I am not sure of the times you refer to in the book of Leviticus. I dont know if you are talking about the timeline as it relates to the Jewish festivals. If we should continue to observe these times then it would put us under obligation to keep the whole law in connection to those timelines. That would mean we would have to go back to animal sacrifices, making of none effect the great Sacrifice. However, the ten commandments is universal in that it exists even before Mount Sinai as evident in the story of the manna from heaven (Exod. 16). And, by the way, a day is from sunset to sunset. We should observe this time.

Yes, each of the festivals involved an animal sacrifice if I recall, that means, a SACRIFICE was intimately a part of them. BUT since Christ was our ultimate sacrifice, these feasts are fulfilled in full. However, if God places upon the heart, to observe them, then do it unto the Lord! amen.

Vishnu, yes I believe that the “Sunday law” will someday soon be “enforced” at which time the penalties will get greater and greater until death is the penalty (as predicted in Bible). We are seeing the beginning of this law in Germany and Croatia and things will move rapidly very soon.

It does matter whether of not one is a member of God’s remnant church because of Revelation 13:12 and16-18 which tells how that all will receive the Mark of the Beast who do not have the seal of the living God in their foreheads, as in Revelation 14:1 (last part) “…having his Father’s name written in their foreheads.”
Only those who, “…keep the commandments of God,…” Revelation 14:12 have the Father’s name wrtiten in their foreheads.

John, The Revelation sealing and Ezekiel 9:4 sealing are ONE AND THE SAME. It will utterly shock the world and be such a big event that the world will want to discuss God only. Soon it will happen–God’s cleansing of His Sanctuary. So The sealings are done to those who keep the Commandments of God (not just go through the motions) and cry out against sin. These TWO are a must to receive the sealing, soon to be issued at the cleansing.(Isaiah 4:2 and after) explain some details right after this cleansing.

I like this post. This is a clear demonstration to the skeptics of not only the possibility but the hight deree of likelihood that a Sunday law will indeed by past. Those who, having read these reports in light of what was prophesied, are still in skepticism, need to go and study the prophecies of Daniel 11 and Revelation 13.
However, while I concur 100% with the Sunday law prediction, I think we need to get a better understanding of what Satan is hoping to achieve with Sunday Legislation. In this whole Sunday issue it seems as if it will be two different agendas at work – man’s agenda on the one hand and Satan’s on the next.
All that man wants to achieve is the dedication of Sunday to God. But with this arrangement God is still accepting Sunday keepers as His in spite of their not keeping the Sabbath. This could never be Satan’s game plan; he needs to take it a little further in order for him to accomplish his aim of getting the world to worship him. Thus he will have to have his own agenda.

You missed the point. The point is God said do not worship as the pagans do. Why worship the sun god on easter morning? God says that type of worship – to other gods- is an abomination. We can not sacrifice as there is no temple but we can take time to acknowledge, study, observe what we can. But don’t “worship” God on a pagan holiday if you want to please him.

Yes, God’s day is from sunset to sunset.
I am referring to the appointed times – festivals – in Leviticus. We are not able to do the sacrifices because we have no temple mount but God said in Lev 16:29,31; 23:14 they are to be a permanent statue. But since we can not sacrifice that doesn’t mean we can ignore them. They are a day of rest, no work. A time set aside for God. And we can obey that much. But God does not change his laws.
The blood of bulls and goats did not take away our sins (Heb 10:4); they were only looking forward to the time that Jesus would offer himself once. Just as Abraham told Issac that God would provide Himself the sacrifice. Abraham was looking ahead;
Paul, after the crucifixion, was keeping the festivals. I Cor 5:8 and Acts 27:9. After Jesus steps down on the Mt of Olives, when the Lord is king over all the earth, everyone that is left is to go to Jerusalem to celebrate the Feast of Booths/Tabernacles in Sept/ Oct (Zech 14:16
But back to “worshipping as the pagans do”. I need to clarify that or rephrase it. God says in Deut 18:9 and 12:30 “…enquire not after their gods saying, How did these nations serve their gods?…” We can not insult God by saying we are worshipping Him on a day that is set aside for worshipping another god. It is not healthy for our spiritual well-being!!

It is written repeatedly in God’s Word that the Sabbath is His appointed day for both rest and worship. The Sabbath is NOT Sunday. I don’t remember in what scriptures where God wants Jews and Gentiles to glorify Him together. In Ezekiel a greater abomination to God is revealed to Ezekiel. Chapter 8:13-8:16. The 25 men with their backs to God and worshipping the sun in the INNER court of the Temple. This is where research starts. Who could those men be allowed in the inner court? Who were the false fertility and sun gods? Who worshipped those false gods at that point in time and afterward even to today? Fast forward to Matthew: 27:51 where the veil is torn. Is this not where both Jews and Gentiles have been given access to god through his Son? The veil and it’s purpose and Jesus purpose should be researched. The roman catholic church says you are not christian if you are not catholic. God’s word does NOT say that. What is pontiface, pontifex? Who ruled Rome? What was the court body who governed? Why were Christians tortured and killed in the coloseum for amusement by Roman Government? What did they worship? Were they pagan? Where is the remnant of that government today? Who did they kill and where did they operate from and where do they operate today? Do they have a military branch? Are they political? Are they sovereign & what does that mean in terms of world power? God’s Word has been given to us in many languages so we can decipher what the truth is. Religion is man’s way of getting to God (like the ones who masterminded the tower of Babel). God’s Word is His way to us. There are many Christians (non-denominational) who understand the horrendous suffering inflicted by religions which does not exclude the heirarchy of the RCC from Jesus time to hundreds of years during The Inquisitions( massive holocaust) to twentieth century holocaust. Research the death/ work camps in Croatia. Ask why were 11,000 children killed and by whom? Who exactly worked at the camps? All this deception and confusion will be sorted out by our true Authority. As revelation and the true prophets told us. The Messiah will come back.

All of this is well and true, however, we must remember that Satan, working through his agencies, does nothing that is so open and obvious as Sunday law institution. The real danger for God’s people is not legislating Sunday as a ‘day of family and worship’. The real danger is the other part of that legislation that gets so little attention. That is making the rest of the week a mandatory work week. As long as you keep the Sabbath, it matters little if you go to church on Sunday too. But when God’s people are commanded to work on the Sabbath, now loyalties will be put to the test. For those who are employed by others, if you refuse to work on Sabbath your employment will be terminated. For those who own their own businesses, if you refuse to remain open for business on Sabbath, you will at first be heavily fined and then the government will close you down, for good. This is how they will control buying and selling.
Like Daniel and his three friends of long ago, this will be the ultimate test of God’s people. Will we be willing to put our total trust in Him to take care of us during this time, as Daniel and his friends did? Or will we be fearful of not being able to provide for ourselves and our families and cave in to the pressures and work on Sabbath as mandated by the government.
Two people groups will be constrained to working this six day schedule. Those who believe with their hearts that Sunday is the day we should keep and those who, though they don’t believe it work it anyway to provide sustenance for themselves and their families. One has it in their minds, (what they believe) and the other has it in their hands (what they do).
