As we know in the domino trick, the first push of that first domino causes the other dominos to be affected and ultimately they all come crashing down. Recently the world saw the Russian army invade Ukraine. The main stream media, predictably began their analysis of the ” how and why” of it. But can we really trust them to be accurate, to give the true unbias account of the FACTS?
Well do you remember Saddam Hussien and his store pile of “weapons of mass destruction”? Many of us do, and we subsequently learned it was all baloney, a concoction of lies and falsehoods to prepare the masses for the Globalist’s invasion of a sovereign country. Thousands were killed on a false premise!
Satan as we know has been allowed to run the world to a large degree ever since his ploy in the garden worked. And as such, being the “father of lies” has led his workers down that same path–lies and falsehoods.
Our King says, “You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies “(John 8:44).
“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.” (1 Peter 5:8-9)
Indeed many people will suffer from this war, instigated by the arch-enemy of souls. But the question is — Is this that first domino to fall that will ultimate in the great world war predicted in God’s word?
“Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.
For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.
And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the Lord my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.
And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark:
But it shall be one day which shall be known to the Lord, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light.” (Zech 14:1-7)
So we must be watchful as to what is really happening with this war. To that end, we want to show you a video report that Kim Iverson from Hill.TV has made about the “back story” you are not being told about the real how and why Russia has invaded Ukraine.
Ultimately the Lord is pulling the strings on this but we thought it’d be good to see the real reasons (back story) for that attack. Be blessed!
NOTE: Due to the world events happening now, we will show this update post. We will continue with part two of our last post “Mystery of Mysteries Exposed” in a couple weeks.
With Russia now advancing into Ukraine, the world is beholding startling events. The Bible speaks of the upcoming gigantic war to happen over the middle east. Please watch our video to know more. Be Blessed.

PREFACE
PERSONALLY WATCHING FOR EVERY RAY OF LIGHT.
One who entrusts to another the investigation of a message from the Lord, is making flesh his arm, and thus is foolishly acting as without a mind of his own. And “the mind that depends upon the judgment of others is certain, sooner or later, to be misled.” — Education, p. 231.
Similarly, one who allows prejudice to bar him from a candid investigation of anything new, coming in the name of the Lord, is unwittingly an infidel.
Likewise he who is satisfied with his present attainments in the Word of God, says in effect: “I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing.”
All these, in variously acting out the part which provoked the condemnation written against the Laodiceans, thereby fulfilling the prophecy which they ought not fulfill, are preparing themselves to be spued out (Rev. 3:14-18). And if they continue in their self-satisfied attitude that they have all the truth, and so have need of nothing more, they will spurn every new claimant to truth and toss the message into the discard because it comes through an unexpected channel. Certainly, then, were this tract not the unfolding of prophecy, the fact is
Tract 1 page 3
inevitable that when the unfoldment did come, they would treat it in like manner, and consequently toss away their salvation!
Throughout the ages, all who have put their trust in the so-called wise men, and foremost Christians of the day, all reputedly godly men, have by these very ones been bereft of the crown of eternal life, as were the Jewish laity in the days of Christ because of their failing to assume full responsibility for their own salvation. Presumptuously trusting in the wisdom of their so-called “great men,” they declined to believe in Christ’s words “O Father, Lord of heaven and earth,…Thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.” Matt. 11:25 “Where is the wise? where is the scribe?…hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?” 1 Cor 1:20.
“…if a message comes that you do not understand, take pains that you may hear the reasons the messenger may give, comparing scripture with scripture, that you may know whether or not it is sustained by the word of God.” — Testimonies on Sabbath-School Work, p. 65.
Will you not, therefore, Brother, Sister, cease to copy the mistakes of others? Will you not profit by them? If you will, you are duty-bound to use your own mind in reaching for salvation, lest you fail to understand the saving truth in the momentous expose, the

PRE-“ELEVENTH HOUR” EXTRA! THE DARDANELLES OF THE BIBLE.
The call of Ezekiel to the prophetic office is one of the most interesting experiences of the ancient seers, and the revelation of what he saw by the river Chebar is perhaps of greater importance to heaven and earth at this time than is any other vision on sacred record, because in a remarkable way it reveals That Which unites Heaven with Earth, even as the Dardanelles links two important seas. Thus this study of Ezekiel’s vision which brings to light earth’s being visited by the Majesty of the Universe, may be aptly termed, “The Dardanelles of the Bible.”
The reader who would best comprehend this seemingly most confusing and complicated of Bible symbolisms, will follow the cover-page objectification, in conjunction with
The Prophet’s Description of the Mysteries Herein Treated.
“And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire infolding itself, and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as the colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire.
“Also out of the midst thereof came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance; ance they had the likeness of a man. And every one had four faces, and
Tract 1 page 5
every one had four wings. And their feet were straight feet; and the sole of their feet was like the sole of a calf’s foot: and they sparkled like the colour of burnished brass. And they had the hands of a man under their wings on their four sides; and they four had their faces and their wings. Their wings were joined one to another; they turned not when they went; they went everyone straight forward.
“As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle….
“And I saw as the colour of amber, as the appearance of fire round about within it, from the appearance of his loins even upward, and from the appearance of his loins even downward, I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and it had brightness round about. As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spake.” Ezek. 1:4-10, 27, 28.
“And it came to pass, that when He had commanded the man clothed with linen, saying, Take fire from between the wheels, from between the cherubims; then he went
Tract 1 page 6
in, and stood beside the wheels.” Ezek. 10:6.
To this marvelous scene which Ezekiel saw on the river bank in the land of the Chaldeans, our undivided attention is now called. Being “the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord,” obviously, then, it was
The Lord on One of His Thrones.
Besides this divine appearance which Ezekiel saw (Ezek. 1:28), the Bible describes God enthroned on three other occasions — once as seen by Isaiah, and twice as seen by John the Revelator; to wit:
(1) “…I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne high and lifted up, and His train filled the temple. Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly. And one cried unto another, and said, Holy holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of His glory. And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried and the house was filled with smoke.” Isa. 6:1-4.
(2) “And immediately I was in the spirit: and behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne… And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns
Tract 1 page 7
of gold… and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God. And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind.” Rev. 4:2, 4-6.
(3) “And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.” Rev. 22:1.
Since the throne seen by Isaiah was a “train” (retinue), and since as it entered into the temple, “the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke” (Isa. 6:1, 4), it therefore is a traveling throne, whereas both the one of Revelation 4, having the “sea of glass” before it, and the one of Revelation 22, having the “river…of life” before it, are stationary thrones.
Though the one which Ezekiel saw is similar to the one which Isaiah was shown, yet they are distinct and separate thrones, for each of the “seraphims” of Isaiah’s vision has six wings, while each of the “cherubims” of Ezekiel’s vision has but four. In the latter, moreover, the cherubims stood under the throne, whereas in the former, they stood above it. On record, therefore, are four thrones — two stationary, and two traveling.”
During the active ministerial work of brother Victor Houteff, he made several “symbolic code” newsletters that went out into the SDA field. In those compilations, he often received correspondence of inquiries about the teachings he was promoting. He was challenged and he did not shy away from directly answering them. Here is an interesting one. Be blessed.
Question:
“What Biblical proof have you for placing as you do the seals of Revelation, chapters four to seven and the first part of the eighth? Why make them span the entire world’s history, when the Seventh-day Adventist denomination has been teaching for years that they begin after the crucifixion?”
Answer:
The questioner has a perfect right to ask for Biblical proof of our interpretations of the Scriptures, but he must remember that our rights are as good as his. Hence, before answering his questions, we would like to ask him to give us but one Scripture as the basis upon which he can establish that the seals span the Christian era only. Our being as well informed as the questioner on all the doctrines which the denomination teaches, and of the proofs upon which they are based, we are free to say that the strongest and the only foundation upon which the denominational interpretation stands is grounded upon the presumptuous idea that the white horse and he that sat on him, going forth conquering and to conquer (Rev. 6:2), represents the early Christian church in her best spiritual condition.
This position is assumed upon the unmitigated presumption that the color of the horse (white) must represent the purity of the early church, and that the words, “conquering and to conquer,” stand for her rapid growth after Pentecost.
We agree that “white” stands for purity, and that “conquering and to conquer” could represent the growth of the church, but what proof would that be if such an idea is contradicted by all other truth? For example, we call the reader’s attention to the fact that when John was about to be shown in vision the events in the seven seals, it was about sixty-five years after the Pentecost and in the period when the church was already declining from her spiritual condition. The voice which he heard said to him: “Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter” (Rev. 4:1); that is, the event which he was to be shown was to transpire in the future, “hereafter,” from the time John had the vision.
Now let us take notice of the event he saw. Says John: “I was in the Spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and One sat on the throne. And I saw in the right hand of Him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the back side, sealed with seven seals. And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look there-on. And I wept much,…and one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.” (Rev. 4:2; 5:1,3-5.)
The event of which John prophesied was to transpire in the future from John’s time instead of having already taken place.
Hence, the idea that the white horse with its rider represents the rider in her purity after the Pentecost is only a presumption. Moreover, it is taught that the book with the seven seals is the book of “Daniel and Revelation,” and that those who interpreted the seals are the ones who opened the book, whereas, a “strong angel proclaimed with a loud voice,” that “no man in heaven, nor in the earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.” Consequently, we would like to ask the questioner how could the men who interpreted the seals open the book if they could not even “look thereon”?
Still further, whoever heard that the church could be symbolized by a man riding on a horse! Furthermore, those who are fighting against the sealing message on the pretext that it contradicts the Spirit of Prophecy have themselves altogether closed their eyes to the voice of the Spirit of Prophecy by a flat contradiction of it, for they claim that the book with the seven seals is the book of “Daniel and Revelation,” whereas, the Spirit of Prophecy, in perfect harmony with “The Shepherd’s Rod,” says:
“Thus the Jewish leaders made their choice. Their decision was registered in the book which John saw in the hand of Him that sat upon the throne, the book which no man could open. In all its vindictiveness this decision will appear before them in the day when this book is unsealed by the Lion of the Tribe of Judah.”—“Christ’s Object Lessons,” p. 294.
The above quoted passage shows that this book contains the names and record of those who profess to be the people of God. Then, how could it be the book of “Daniel and The Revelation”?
We would not take longer in disproving the former interpretation of the seals, but we shall briefly prove the reason why the seals cover the entire history of the human race.
One of the proofs that the seals include the entire world’s history is in the fact that the book with the seven seals is “The book of life,” which contains the record of God’s professed people, and also in the fact that it was to be opened in the day of judgment.
Hence, it proves that in 1844, when the judgment began, Christ opened the book before the throng that surrounded the throne, and this being the Lamb’s book of Life (which no one but the Lamb could open), containing the record of the people from Adam’s time and on, it is obvious that the seven seals, which were broken at the beginning of the judgment, contain the entire history of the human race, divided into seven periods, which sealed the book up to the day of judgment. See our exposition on the seals in “The Shepherd’s Rod,” Vol. 2, pp. 194-221. (Symbolic Code vol. 2, no. 7-8, p.9-10)
What we are witnessing today is truly remarkable. The masses have been led down a road like a sheepherder leads his flock. The Bible is very clear about “leaning on flesh” and what happens if we do. let us read —
“Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.” (Jer. 17:5)
Granted, the heathen, as well as some of God’s people, are submitting to leaning on flesh today but this Word of God will apply just the same. What are we specifically talking about? The mass submission to the “pandemic” restrictions and instructions. Yes, we put that word in parenthesis because, as you’ll see, people are growing in knowledge about this so-called pandemic and are correctly calling it a “plandemic”. The old saying that applies now is “the horse is out of the barn”. There is just too much information out there now, as opposed to one year ago, to ignore.
We have mentioned often to others, that we are truly amazed and did not know there were so many willing subservient people, willing to obey the most non-logical even non-sensical instructions from so-called authorities. Also what this shows us is that when the time comes for the “mark of the beast” to be in place, there will be, as now, many around the world who won’t hesitate to blindly follow orders, even down to their death for eternity!
The leaning on flesh mainly comes from the Globalists mass media network around the world. The Covid-19 agenda had been set forth about Feb/ March of 2020 through that network. Politicians and so-called medical experts like Anthony Fauci also led the charge. The masses who watched CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, ABC, BBC, etc all listened as they were told the big bad monster was going to get them and they had better listen up to what they wanted them to do. So-called health experts, the WHO (World Health Org.) and CDC (Centers for Disease Control) led the call to cooperate.
We don’t know about you, but we still see regularly, people alone walking outside in the fresh air wearing a mask! People driving alone in the car wearing a mask! They have been programmed as it were, submission at its finest! On a more personal note, my own church has about 90% of the members wearing masks IN HIS SANCTUARY! That’s right, such little faith in the Mighty Healer, the One who protects His people!
“And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith?” (Matt. 8:26)
Yet despite this, the honest truth-loving ones, began to –investigate the situation. What they found was downright alarming! There are too many aspects to bring up in this post, as to why the so-called pandemic is false and misleading but suffice to say — it’s truly a plandemic made up by the Globalists for their long-awaited “New World Order”.
Yet as we have reported before, the great I AM will have something to say about this Globalist plan.
“And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.” (Dan. 11:45)
The Covid plan shall come to its end even as the King of the North will come to his end. The Rothschilds-led Globalist scheme shall not succeed because the Lord has other plans for mankind.
In the prophecy of Daniel 2, we know that Daniel saw this about the end time nations —
“And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken.” (Dan. 2:42)
Thus the Lord said the nations will NOT be uniform and united, try as the Globalists will.
So in closing, we see that it is very sad to see that the masses today are showing us that soon they will most likely submit to the powerful delusion of the Beast and the false prophet as spoken of in Rev. 13. Despite this ALL will have a chance for redemption should they be courageous and take a stand for the Truth as proclaimed by His end-time servants, the 144,000.
For a truth based factual site from some world’s leading medical doctors, learn about this Covid situation —
His name is Tommy Robinson and he is from England. Before we post more of this remarkable man, let us remind us of something very important.
Our King, as we have mentioned many times, has put a premium on courage down through history. We remember Daniel and his courageous stance to pray openly against the king’s law. David’s tremendous courage to protect his sheep flock by killing a lion and a bear. He took on the giant Goliath, when no one else would. Joshua and Caleb, alone standing up to defend the Lord against the vast throng who sided with the 10 spies.
These are just a few of the stories that show courage played an extremely important role in their standing up for the right, standing up for the Truth, thus standing up for the — King.
“Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.”(Duet. 31:6)
“The wicked flee when no one pursues, but the righteous are bold as a lion.” (Proverbs 28:1)
Tommy Robinson, you see, has been standing up and trying to protect the vulnerable in his country — young women and girls. For a long time, it appears that Great Britain has had a thriving underground sex slave and pedophilia economy. Now, this is something not exclusive to GB, but it affects a great wide portion of the world! Recently as many are aware Jeffrey Epstein was caught, jailed and ultimately murdered in jail. He knew way too much for the rich higher elite to let him go free and possibly appear in court to “spill the beans” as it were.
So Tommy found out about the local sex ring and pushed back, literally and through the law, against the sex gangs actively working in his area. This, was to begin his great fight that even escalated to the courts and main newspapers all over GB. But further than that, his courage soon began to be broadcast on the internet and many websites all over the world. The alternative media was especially proclaiming his situation.
But the high elites, and we’re talking of the BIG SHOTS in GB (and thus around the world) began to get nervous with Tommy. Apparently, the trail comes up to them. Thus, they sent word out to the courts and local police (all corrupt as many other countries) to stop Tommy. He soon had trumped-up charges brought against him, finally serving many months in jail, for basically nothing but standing up to the elites and their sinister network.
But Tommy is not a quitter, he continues to this day to spread the word and try all he can to protect the vulnerable. The Lord’s word says —
“Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.” (Matt. 5:9)
“Open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all who are destitute. Open your mouth, judge righteously, defend the rights of the poor and needy.” (Proverbs 31:8-9)
“Give justice to the weak and the fatherless; maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute. Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.” (Psalms 82:3-4)
Let us keep Tommy in prayer as he doesn’t have all the clear light of the Bible, but he does have the courageous heart which the Word of God loves and earns the Lord’s careful eye on his special work!
Here is a link to Tommy’s trailer short clip of his soon to be published documentary of the sex network in GB. His car was just recently firebombed as the evildoers are trying, once again to stop his work. The great I AM knows all about this situation and HIS will , will be accomplished!
“Then David said to Solomon his son, “Be strong and courageous and do it. Do not be afraid and do not be dismayed, for the Lord God, even my God, is with you. He will not leave you or forsake you, until all the work for the service of the house of the Lord is finished.” (1 Chron. 28:20)
TEXT OF ADDRESS BY V.T. HOUTEFF, MINISTER OF DAVIDIAN 7TH-DAY ADVENTISTS SABBATH, SEPTEMBER 21, 1946 MT. CARMEL CHAPEL WACO, TEXAS
OPENING PRAYER THOUGHT
Timely Greetings, Vol. 1, No. 7, page 1 OPENING PRAYER THOUGHT I shall read from The Mount of Blessing, pg. 155, beginning with the second paragraph.
M.B. pp. 155, 156 — “The very first step in approaching God is to know and believe the love that He has to us; for it is through the drawing of His love that we are led to come to Him.
“The perception of God’s love works the renunciation of selfishness. In calling God our Father, we recognize all His children as our brethren. We are all a part of the great web of humanity, all members of one family. In our petitions we are to include our neighbors as well as ourselves. No one prays aright who seeks a blessing for himself alone.
“‘Which art in heaven.’ He to whom Christ bids us look as our Father,’ ‘is in the heavens; He hath done whatsoever He hath pleased.’ In His care we may safely rest, saying, What time I am afraid, I will trust in Thee.'”
What does the reading instruct us to pray for? — For an appreciation of God’s love and for better understanding of Him; for the right understanding of what it means to pray the Lord’s prayer; for wisdom to know why we address God as our Father, why we are members of one family, brethren of one household; for grace to remember to pray not for ourselves only but for our neighbors, and even for our enemies.
Timely Greetings, Vol. 1, No. 7, page 2
WHAT MAKES ONE ELIGIBLE?
A number of brethren have written to me from time to time, wanting to know what makes them eligible to receive the Seal of God. Some want to know whether they will be sealed by doing this or by doing that. Others want to know whether they will be left without the seal by not doing this or not doing the other.
The questions are indeed very timely and commendable. Such vital questions deserve answers as concrete as are the questions themselves. And who can give a more concrete answer than those who have gone before us, those whose duties were similar to ours, those who were passing through a similar experience, those who traveled the same road that we are traveling, those who were preparing themselves for the Kingdom as are we.
In whom do we find such a parallel? — In no others than those who left Egypt and started for the promised land. No, in none others. They are our only type. Says Inspiration: “Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.” (1 Cor. 10:11.) Their duties, therefore, are our duties, and their failures should be our stepping stones to success. Thus it is that the deeds of those who entered into the promised land must be our
Timely Greetings, Vol. 1, No. 7, page, page 3
deeds, and if we are to be sealed, then the deeds of those who failed to enter therein, we must shun as completely and as quickly as we would shun a lion’s den.
We are now to find out why some of them went into the promised land, and why others did not go in, for this is what Inspiration commands us to do. This scripture implies that if the experiences of ancient Israel had not been for ensamples, they would never have been written. How important, then, that we diligently study them. Yes, in order for us to know what we must do or must not do to receive the seal and to enter into the Promised Land, we must examine the deed of both those who entered it and of those who were left out of it.
Let us begin our examination by starting with Moses, with the human agent, the visible leader of the movement. Reared in the courts of Pharaoh, he received the highest education the world then offered. And having understood that he was the one to free his brethren from Egyptian bondage, he felt quite capable for the job.
You remember the story of how he started out to deliver them although he was not yet told to do so. He killed an Egyptian, fell into a quarrel with one of the Hebrews, and then fled for his life. So it was that in Midian he obtained a job, became a shepherd, and married his employer’s daughter. During those forty years of shepherd’s life he forgot the Egyptian language, and with it the Egyptian learning. In its place, though, he learned to tend well to sheep. He therefore dismissed from his mind the idea of ever delivering the people of God from their Egyptian bondage. Then it was that God saw him strong and well able, and commanded him to go back to Egypt and to bring
Timely Greetings, Vol. 1, No. 7, page 4
out of it His groaning people. You recall that Moses protested against the idea and argued that he had failed at his first attempt, the time he was young and well-informed and that at that late hour of his life he was not trying again, that he could no longer even speak the language. After a prolonged conversation God removed his objections by promising to give him his brother, Aaron, to be his spokesman, and Moses finally consented to return to Egypt.
There with his shepherd’s rod he performed many signs and wonders before both the Egyptians and the Hebrews. And you remember what took place the night of the Passover, the night before they left Egypt: Moses had proclaimed throughout the land that in every dwelling where no blood was found on the doorpost, that very night the firstborn in each such dwelling would die.
Those who disobeyed the Divine injunction, were, on the day following busily moaning and burying their dead, while those who obeyed the command were joyously and orderly marching out of the cities. Yes, only those who were able to take orders were made free from slavery. It is, therefore, prerequisite that we learn to take orders if we are to receive the seal of God in our foreheads.
Let us not forget, though, that the children of Israel left Egypt with great zeal and high hopes. But when they saw the Red Sea ahead of them, and Pharaoh’s army behind them, they were filled with consternation. They saw themselves in a death trap although they were at the brink of another marvelous deliverance. Then they turned on Moses and accused him of bringing them to the sea, of making their escape from their enemies absolutely impossible.
Timely Greetings, Vol. 1, No. 7, page 5
Humanly viewing the situation, they were in a precarious predicament. In that moment they forgot their miraculous deliverance from Pharaoh’s taskmasters and their eyes closed to the wondrous cloud by day and pillar of fire by night that had led them all the way. As they saw it, the evidence against Moses’ ability to lead them safely was overwhelming. Insofar as they were concerned, the whole venture appeared doomed to failure. Their hopes of going ahead or of even going back left them, and all because they thought Moses, not God, was their deliverer! How shortsighted, unstable, doubting, and forgetful human beings are! Experience in the gospel work has taught me that God’s people of today have the same tempter to contend with, and similar temptations to overcome if they are to receive the seal of God.
What a great difference would there have been had the Israelites only believed that God, not Moses, was their Leader, that that which appeared to be their death trap, was their door of hope. Let their experience teach us to remember that God is either leading us altogether or not at all, that His ways are not; our ways, and that what may appear to be our greatest obstacle, may actually turn out to be our greatest blessing.
Israel’s real danger, we now see, was not in what Moses did, but in their unbelief of God’s having the reins in His hands, in not knowing that His ways are beyond finding out — contrary to ours. They failed to see that God could again and again perform miracle after miracle to deliver them from their enemy’s hand, that He could dry the ocean as easily as He could flood the earth.
Having their failures before us, we should make
Timely Greetings, Vol. 1, No. 7, page 6
them our stepping stones to success. Let us therefore wholeheartedly believe that God is in charge of our salvation, of our lives and of our death, too. That He is able to take us to safety even if the earth should drop out of space, that we cannot die if He wants us alive, and that we cannot live if He wants us dead. Let us ever bear in mind that we of ourselves know nothing about God’s plans except as told through His appointed servants, the prophets, and as we witness them day by day. If we daily walk with God, if we commit all to Him, then the responsibility is all His.
God, in His wisdom, brought Israel to the Red Sea for their own good, and though they could not see it His way, He nevertheless for His Name’s sake divided the sea, took them safely across, and at the same time, by the same miracle, He destroyed their enemies!
Had Moses been as doubtful of God’s power and leadership as were the people that were with him, what effect would his rod have had as he struck the sea with it? — None whatsoever. If the Judgment of the Infinite were the same as the judgment of the finite, then Pharaoh’s army would have either killed or enslaved Israel anew.
Their mighty deliverances should, therefore, forever establish our confidence in God, and should stand as everlasting memorials that the wisdom of men is foolishness with God, and that faith in Him does actually remove mountains and seas, too.
Notwithstanding these ensamples, though, men still expect God to work in accordance with their judgment, and that is why sometimes He uses children in

His work instead of wise and prudent men.
The Hebrew host well knew that they were led to the sea by following the cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night. Yet none of these wonders seemed to have made any lasting impression on them. There is a danger that we, too, may forget the way the Lord has led us.
After Israel crossed the sea, and after the sea closed in on their enemies, they all sang and gave God the glory, but though Pharaoh’s army and the sea were no longer objects of fear but of interest, their trials, doubts, and fears were not yet at an end: Almost immediately after they saw the sea behind and the desert ahead they began to recriminate Moses for having brought them into the desert to starve there for want of water and food. It never entered their minds that if God can dry the sea, He can certainly flood the desert and make it blossom as a rose. Notwithstanding their doubts and their moanings God again performed an even greater miracle: He caused water to gush out of the rock and He brought manna from Heaven!
Today as in Moses’ day many are duplicating the sins of that people: Some are all on fire on day, and all on ice the next. Others praise God to the top of their voices while their ship is smoothly sailing, but when the sea becomes rough and the waves start beating against them, then they see only a man at the wheel and rather than expecting God to calm the sea they begin to hunt for a jumping off place. Still others are constantly trying to promote themselves by continual fault-finding against the ones that bear the whole burden of the load. So it is that there must be among us today — antitypical doubters, complainers
Timely Greetings, Vol. 1, No. 7, page 8
office seekers and faultfinders, admitting one great truth one day and forgetting it the next day — yet expecting to be sealed with the seal of God and to stand with the Lamb on Mt. Zion!
The Lord fed His ancient people with Angel’s food, the kind their work and climate required. He delivered it fresh daily, and it did not cost them one cent. All they had to do was to bring it into their tents and to eat it. But they disliked the manna, and wished they were back in Egypt eating from its flesh pots, “the leeks, and the onions, and the garlick.” In their eyes, Moses was the greatest of sinners, and they blamed him for every trial of their faith. Had God given them something other than manna, they would have been just as dissatisfied with it because an evil spirit was in them. Let us gladly and with thanks eat and drink what the Lord gives us and when He gives it to us.
You recall that by craving flesh food they made the situation unbearable for Moses. So, to their great surprise quail filled the camp, and the multitude carried them into their tents. But at what a cost! Thousands of them died even while the flesh was yet between their teeth. Then they understood that the manna was the better food. It was a great lesson, but an expensive one. What about us Vegetarians?
Their murmuring, however, did not end even then. They found something else to murmur about. They grew jealous of Moses and of Aaron. “They are taking too much on themselves,” the office seekers complained. “We are just as much favored of God as are Moses and Aaron. God speaks with us as much as He speaks with them,” they said. And who were the chief complainers? — The princes of the nations, the
Timely Greetings, Vol. 1, No. 7, page 9
men who were the most capable, the very ones who should have known better. Those who could have been the greatest help to Moses became the biggest hindrance to him. They wanted Aaron’s office; they wanted Moses’ office. They refused to be satisfied with anything less. The Lord Himself got nowhere with them. The only thing He could do was to cause the earth to swallow them. Thus in one day thousands — practically all the so-called wise — fell into the bowels of the earth. Are we, too, seeking office by which to exalt self and are we, too, endeavoring to usurp the seat of the Spirit of Truth?
Finally, the emancipated children of Israel came to the borders of the promised land. And though they had witnessed great miracles right along, yet they did not believe that God could procure the land for them! They had seen that He was able to deliver them from Pharaoh’s brick yards, to take them dryshod through the sea, to destroy their enemies, to give them food and water in the desert where there was none to be had, yet they did not believe that He was able to take the land for them and that He could finish what He had started!
There are thousands today who are doing virtually the same when they say, “Isaiah, chapter 2, Micah, chapter 4, Jeremiah, chapter 31 and Ezekiel, chapters 36 and 37 will never be fulfilled.” It was those who were of age, those who should have known better, that started the ball rolling down hill to destruction. The youth, of course, must have echoed the murmurings of their elders, but the Lord did not hold it against them. And in order to salvage the youth, God had to bury all their murmuring parents except the two faithful, trusting men who protested against the evil report of the other ten spies. Mark you, every adult that
Timely Greetings, Vol. 1, No. 7, page 10
left Egypt, except Caleb and Joshua, had to be buried before the youth could cross the Jordan! Why? — Because though God did take them with ease out of Egypt, He could not get Egypt out of them. Are you still wondering why the prophet Elijah must “turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers”? (Mal. 4:6.)
Christians often think that the Israelites were very wicked and unruly people, but after having their experiences to profit by, think how much worse we would be if we do as they did! If we do no better than they, how can we expect to be eligible for the seal and for the Kingdom since they were not eligible?
In the very prime of life, Moses thought himself capable of delivering the children of Israel. But Providence said: “You are not fit for the work, come out and I will make you fit.” And out Moses went.
He did not need Pharaoh’s training in order to do God’s work. It was a hindrance to him! Why? Because it made him self-sufficient, independent of God. Such a person would be the right one to lead God’s people away from Him and into sin, but the wrong one to lead them to God and away from sin.
How true the statement in Testimonies, Vol. 5, pg. 80: “…In the last solemn work few great men will be engaged. They are self-sufficient, independent of God, and he cannot use them. The Lord has faithful servants, who in the shaking, testing time will be disclosed to view.”
God can help only those who know that they are unequal to their task, those who know that they need His help. So, then, those who think that they can do wonders
Timely Greetings, Vol. 1, No. 7, page 11
are the very ones who can do nothing but harm.
Plainly, those whom God is to use in His final work, in the time of the end, are not to be anything like the Egyptian crown prince, not anything like the learned Moses. Those who can learn to keep and feed sheep well and to readily take orders, are the ones who can be taught how to keep and feed God’s people.
Moses’ wife was the only Ethiopian in the entire company. For this reason some thought they were superior to her. They thought that Moses had committed the unpardonable sin by marrying out of his nation, as though race had anything to do with making people superior or inferior. Moses’ own sister, Miriam, was caught in that sin. There she was, trying to break up his family, yet Moses prayed for her recovery when she was stricken with leprosy.
Who went into the promised land? — All but the murmurers. Do you suppose that you can entertain the same spirit of murmuring and complaining, and in spite of it receive the seal? — How absurd the very thought! How unfair it would be for a just God to destroy the disobedient of that day, but to save the disobedient of this day.
What made one group eligible to cross the Jordan? — It was their trust in God, knowing that He was their Chief Leader. They recognized Moses and Joshua as the ones through whom God was communicating with them. They did not look upon them as being anyone other than who they actually were. They were satisfied with their lot. They took orders as the orders were given. So it was that they were the only ones who entered into the land.
Timely Greetings, Vol. 1, No. 7, page 12
Having these ensamples before us, this picture to go by, I can confidently tell whether I am headed for the Kingdom or whether I am headed for the bowels of the earth (Rev. 12:16). And I am sure that you, too, can tell which way you are headed. The Lord does not require more or less of us than He required of our types. There is therefore no mystery as to what we must do, and what we must not do to receive the seal of God.
We need not go into a land of wonderment, need not entertain the idea that we must have a mysterious feeling, exciting emotion, need not wallow in the dust or jump to the ceiling. No, we need not make fools of ourselves. All we need to do is be ourselves. Be calm, decent, respectable, heaven-like beings, endeavoring to do God’s will on earth as it is done in heaven. We need not make a display of ourselves, but we need to mind our God-given business and to keep our noses out of other people’s business.
Only when we have done all we can to comply with the requirements of the message for today, not of yesterday, shall we be sealed and stand with the Lamb on Mt. Zion.
Should we not be glad that while we are being invited to the Kingdom, we are also being told how to get there? Seeing all these, we must never let our confidence in God wane. We ought to be stable, firm in everything, lacking nothing. God’s eleventh-hour servants, says Inspiration, are to be “a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it.” Joel 2:2. They know what they believe, and believe what they know. Most important of all, they know that they are led by God, not by man.
Timely Greetings, Vol. 1, No. 7, page 13
They are not like the Pharisees who were building monuments in memory of the dead prophets (Matt. 23:29-31) and at the same time were slaying the living ones! With this light shining on our pathway, Hebrews, chapters 3, 4, 10 and 11 become self-interpreting.
The Sacred Page
A glory gilds the sacred page, Majestic like the sun; It gives a light to every age, It gives, but borrows none.
The Spirit breathes upon the word, And brings the truth to sight; Precepts and promises afford A sanctifying light.
The hand that gave it, still supplies The gracious light and heat; His truths upon the nations rise, They rise, but never set.
Let everlasting thanks be thine, For such a bright display; It makes a world of darkness shine With beams of heavenly day.
As we showed before in our post about this courageous Archbishop —
“Among the Catholics there are many who are most conscientious Christians and who walk in all the light that shines upon them, and God will work in their behalf.” (Testimonies , vol. 9, p.243)
“God has jewels in all the churches, and it is not for us to make sweeping denunciation of the professed religious world.” (Last Day Events, p.197)
This man has continued to sound the alarm about the Globalists’ new world order and their demonic schemes. His knowledge and handle on the affairs of these men is amazing. Let us read his latest comments —
“The New World Order is neither New nor Order: it represents the foolish ambition of Satan to overthrow the providential plan of God, to cancel the true Religion that leads to eternal salvation and finally to replace the “ordo christianus” (“the Christian order”) with infernal chaos. In this disorder, the lie replaces the Truth, injustice and abuse of power replace justice, whim instead of obedience to the law of God, death instead of life, illness instead of health, the legitimization of Evil and the condemnation of Good, the persecution of good people and the praising of evil ones, ignorance in the place of culture and wisdom, ugliness and horror instead of beauty, division and hatred instead of harmony and love.
Satan doesn’t want to be worshipped by adopting the qualities of God, but by demanding to be an object of adoration through everything that is evil, obscene, false, absurd, and monstrous. He seeks complete subversion, a subversion ontologically devilish and Antichristic: a “New Order” obtained by means of a global coup d’état imposed under the guise of an engineered planned emergency.
The vaccine campaign, lacking any scientific validity, serves first of all as the apparent legitimization for implementing global tracking and controls, today under the pretext of limiting COVID spread (a pretext which is false, because, among other reasons, the vaccinated can still become infected and be contagious). But tomorrow, this campaign aims to expand its reach, extending the “Green Pass” to includeinformation used in a “social credit system” to confront a “green emergency,” which will be likewise false and specious. The “Green Pass” is being conceived as something like the Mark of the Beast mentioned in the Apocalypse of Saint John to allow or forbid people to buy, sell, travel, spend, eat and live.
Secondly, the inoculation of people with an experimental genic serum that provokes a weakening of our natural immune system represents a very grave crime, because it turns ordinary healthy people into chronically ill people, and consequently into customers of the health care companies and private care. This situation hugely inflates the profits of the globalist élite and brings a general impoverishment of the population.“
One thing we are led to say is that he knows quite a lot about the future, yet he obviously does not have the light of the Lord’s final message of the Rod. If he had he’d realize that the “King of the North” shall come to his end and none shall help him (Daniel 11:45). This means that the Globalist empire, as it now exists will come to a screeching halt once the SDA church purification comes (Ezek. 9). The 144,000 escaped of this process will indeed take the field. It shall then be a new ball game worldwide. This, he is not aware. But he has put together some of the pieces that he knows about and for this, we praise the Lord!
He is a man of courage, standing up to his own pope! Standing for right despite the circumstances.
“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that youmay be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness..” (EPH 6:10-18)
Our King gave us the counsel of what He would do in regards to “gifts”. Let us read —
“As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. (1 Peter 4:10)
Do we realize what our gift(s) are? Have we really been able to recognize them? This, it would seem, is one of the most basic fundamentals of the Spirit of God.
Recently we had a most lively discussion of the gift of teaching with our Facebook present truth site called –Truth Tellers. It seemed that there were two distinct camps of believers. One aside basically said that “man” is the one who bestows this gift or put another way — learned knowledge upon the teacher, and this enables him to preach the final message of Elijah. The others said, wait, let’s see what the final message of the Lord’s Elijah says here. This topic of teaching is addressed within the final message, let’s look at it.
In 1944 the final prophet to our SDA church, brother Houteff published a clear and powerful counsel, as he quoted SOP , let us read —
“Let me tell you,” continues the Spirit of Prophecy, “if your heart is in this work, and you have faith in God, you need not depend upon the sanction of any minister or any people: if you go right to work in the name of the Lord, in a humble way doing what you can to teach thetruth, God will vindicate you. If the work had not been so restricted by an impediment here, and an impediment there, and on the other side an impediment, it would have gone forward in its majesty. It would have gone in weakness at first; but the God of heaven lives.” — Review and Herald, April 16, 1901. (See also Testimonies, Vol. 7, p. 25.) (Fundamental Beliefs Tract, p.25)
The above should be clear, right? Not so fast! Satan and his agents (those who are hooked on falsehood) see the above and they say “You see what you see? That really doesn’t mean that.” The Spirit of Prophecy (SOP) describes this situation perfectly —
“The truths most plainly revealed in the Bible have been involved in doubt and darkness by learned men, who, with a pretense of great wisdom, teach that the Scriptures have a mystical, a secret, spiritual meaning not apparent in the language employed. These men are false teachers. It was to such a class that Jesus declared: “Ye know not the Scriptures, neither the power of God.” (Great Controversy, p.598) Although she mentions Scripture here, the same principle would apply to ALL inspiration. So logically Satan would not stop just with the Scriptures. He would carry this Satanic rule on through to all the Lord’s messages to His people. He knows his time is short. He thus applies deceptive teachings to this teaching issue. For why would he sit idly back and allow gifted teachers, those God has bestowed this gift upon –to teach?
Let us read an example of his handy work. This is found in the controversial Florence Houteff published symbolic new codes. For those not familiarwith her, she was the wife of Victor Houteff. She decided to take control of the movement after he died (Feb. 5, 1955). She soon began to make her own prophecies through what is termed “new codes”, a publication sent out to Davidian SDA and also SDA at that time. She claimed that in 1959 the predicted Bible prophecy of the 42 months as spoken in Revelation 11 and 13 would be fulfilled by April 22, 1959. Of course, it failed badly and left a big and nasty mark upon the message of Elijah. The SDA church leaders, began to ridicule this message that brother Houteff brought, thinking “he” made it when in fact he had nothing to do with it. Could we expect anything else from the great adversary?
Here is the code she relied upon, and those hooked in error do as well, even today!
“Many have asked who is eligible to lead in the service of the work? The answer that goes out from Mt. Carmel is that anyone not holding a Certificate of Fellowship cannot be a Davidian teacher. He can listen only. Yet just the granting of a Certificate of Fellowship is a cheap thing. That in itself would have no significance. Who receives the Certificate? — Those who have personally studied all the Message and believe It; those overcoming temptation; those complying with all the requirements; those who put their treasure where moth and thieves cannot enter; those who keep all the commandments; those who are not flesh-eaters, drunkards, or tobacco users; those who do not rob God of tithes and offerings. (SC, vol. 11, no.3, p.10-11)
So in our recent discussion, one side uses the above as an argument to justify that “man” gives the permission to teach, the other side says God is the one that gives permission. To be sure, learned knowledge is certainly a blessing and we all should strive to learn more. Whether by self or by men of experience, as the case may be. But, to say “only” those who have been taught of man, given permission by man or a group of men, can teach the final message of Elijah is making a mockery of the Lord’s process of bestowing gifts to His people.
Satan is crafty brethren, let us not take our eye off the ball, he will use any and all deceptions to preventus from making the Lord’s kingdom! We always are well grounded when we make the Lord’s Word– The Bible our standard.
“But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.” (John 16:13)
The following are two timely questions that brother Houteff addressed, may you be blessed and enlightened.
QUESTIONS ANSWERED
Artaxerxes’ Decree
The question as to which decree of the Medo-Persian kings is to be accredited for the commencement of the 2300 days of Dan. 8:14 is herein answered :
The Great Controversy, page 328, gives 457 B.C. as the date of Artaxerxes’ issuing the decree. From this, also page 326 with Ezra 9:9, is by some understood to be the decree which was to build the temple at Jerusalem. But a more careful reading of the above mentioned pages and the Bible will reveal the fact that the first three decrees which completed the building of the temple (Ezra 6:14, 15), prepared the way for the proclamation to rebuild the city and the walls is the event which must establish the date of the beginning of the 2300 prophetic years of Dan. 8:14, for the fact that the angel said to Daniel. “Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem….The streets shall be built again and the wall, even in troublous times” (Dan. 9:25), and not from the commandment to build the temple.
Moreover, Artaxerxes’ decree, participating in the building of the temple (Ezra 6:14), is not the same, for the temple building was finished in the reign of Darius (Ezra 7:15), and Ezra states that “after these things” (Ezra 7:1); that is, after the finishing of the temple, the king proclaimed: “I, even I Artaxerxes the king, do make a decree to all the treasurers which are beyond the river, that whatsoever Ezra the priest, the scribe of the law of the God of heaven, shall require of you, it be done speedily. (Ezra 7:21.)
Therefore, the decree in 457 B.C., in the seventh year of the reign of Artaxerxes the king, which was not issued for the building of the temple, but rather for the city and the wall, also to beautify the house of God which had been finished some years before the above decree, and before the expeditions of Ezra and Nehemiah, who executed the king’s commandment, is the date of the beginning of the 2300 days of Dan. 8:14. See diagram in tract #4, page 20; also “The Symbolic Code” of August, 1934 issue, page 5.
Christ In The Sanctuary Above And Also In The Church Upon Earth
In reference to the question as to how can the work of Christ in the heavenly sanctuary and the chariot of Ezekiel’s vision, according to our tract #1, be harmonized; that is, how can Christ be in the heavenly sanctuary and at the same time be upon the earth also is answered as follows:
It is understood that Christ’s work will continue in the heavenly sanctuary up to the close of probation. But Inspiration also declares that He will be in the midst of His people — in the church on earth — during the time of the Loud Cry of the Third Angel’s Message, for, saith the Lord, “I will dwell in the midst of thee,” and many nations shall be joined to the Lord in that day.” (Zech. 2:11) “Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee.” (Isa. 12:6.)
The Spirit of Prophecy describes in the following quotation the time of His coming to dwell in the midst of His people:
“They will question and criticize the work and position of others, criticize every branch of the work in which they have not themselves a part. They will feed upon the errors and mistakes and faults of others, ‘until,’ said the angel, ‘the Lord Jesus shall rise up from His mediatorial work in the heavenly sanctuary, and shall clothe Himself with the garments of vengeance, and surprise them at their unholy feast; and they will find themselves unprepared for the marriage supper of the Lamb.'” — “Testimonies for the Church,” vol 5. p. 690.
Volume 5, page 80, shows that He takes charge of the flock at the time of the purification of the church, and “Testimonies to Ministers,” p. 300 states: “God will use ways and means by which it will be seen that He is taking the reins in His own hands. The workers will be surprised by the simple means that He will use to bring about and perfect His work of righteousness.” Therefore, whether we can with our mortal minds fully comprehend God’s ways or not, His Word is true, which in the above shows that though He will carry on His mediatorial work in the heavenly sanctuary up to the close of probation, He will also be, during the time of the Loud Cry, upon earth in the midst of His people — the church.
In the following, we shall try to give a meager illustration of how it can be possible with Him. Let us remember that He is omnipresent as described by the prophet, saying, “Thus saith the Lord, The heaven is My throne, and the earth is My footstool.” (Isa. 66:1.)
{1SC3: 3}
If it was possible for Him to be in the first apartment of the heavenly sanctuary after His resurrection, and at the same time be upon the throne of God away from the sanctuary (Rev. 22:1; E.W. 55; see tract #3, pp. 21-23), then why would it be impossible for Him to be in the heavenly sanctuary as well as upon the earth, seeing that He is omnipresent? We mortal beings are sometimes apt to draw very narrow conclusions regarding God and His work, and limit His mysteries by comparing Him to our mortal beings.
If an angel can make the trip from heaven to earth in less than fifteen minutes (Dan. 9:23), then is it not reasonable that Christ also can do likewise? His answer to Mary, after His resurrection, “touch Me not; for I am not yet ascended to My Father: but go to My brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto My Father, and your Father; and to My God, and your God. Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you (John 20:17, 19), proves the fact that Christ went to heaven and returned on the same day.
Hence, if it is possible for our General Conference president to attend his business in Washington, D.C., and at the same time make a trip to some distant country, which will take him months to accomplish, is it not much more possible for Christ to attend both places while He can travel back and forth by an incomprehensibly greater speed than lightning?
This fact is again attested by the words of Ezekiel, saying, “The cherubims lifted up their wings, and moved up from the earth in my sight.” (Ezek. 10:19.) And afterwards in chapter 11, verse 24 shows that they again returned. Let no one suppose that Christ is like a prisoner in the sanctuary and that He must stay there, but let us rather remember that His work only is there and at His will He can come and go more conveniently than a business man can attend his business in his office and at the same time live at home.
Christ has further illustrated this incident in the parable of Mark 13:34: “For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left His house, and gave authority to His servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.” “After a long time [from His ascension to the purification of the church] the Lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them.” (Matt. 25:19.) Consequently, the period of His absence ends at the purification of the church at which time He reckons with His servants and, Himself, taketh charge of His flock.” (1 Symbolic Code, no.3, p.4)
