Both figurative and literally, we have heard of the infamous term “gut punch”. Some like yours truly unfortunately have experienced the latter. A long time ago when I was a teenager (doing heathen things), I went to a party where some friends were there. Alcohol and music, of course was there.

A friend of mine ( so I thought) was there also. We’ll call him K. He was a rather large guy about 220, and 6 feet tall. As I was only 19 at the time and was only 140, and also about 6 ft. Anyway K was always one who wanted to be noticed. During the evening someone got the bright idea to show off and said he could drink an alcohol drink that was lit on fire. In other words, he was able to drink a fire drink without getting burned. And he did it, much to the crowd’s hearty approval.

K, not being the brightest cookie in the jar, decided he could do it as well ( due most likely to his drinking). But as he went to try it, he jerked back in pain as the whole experience backfired on him. Well, as most of us there were tipsy from the alcohol, most of the people there burst out in laughter at K’s foolish attempt.

I was watching but did not make a big show of laughter or make any kind of embarrassment pointed at him like some of the others did. A minute or two later K walks over real slow and unloads a hard gut punch to me out of the blue!. Apparently, he thought I was one of them laughing at his pain.

Being well aware that a physical confrontation with big K would probably leave me with even more injury, so I simply sucked it up and went my way. I never forgot that from K, and did not speak to him for over 30 years until he looked me up on FB a couple years ago. Long story short we made amends and talk now and then today.

But there is another gut punch, right now, that many are experiencing from this last election. This one is figurative yet very real and painful, to literally half of the country. The Lord Word says —

“Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6)

And as such we followers of Christ –love Truth. And because we do, we naturally hate lies and falsehood. But this year’s election was false. In other words, the Truth is Donald Trump won, and Joe Biden stole it. So right now many in America are walking around as if they have received a gut punch. The hurt is deep. But we also know that despite what we see, our King is in control! This is the comfort to us believers.

“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast because they trust in Him.” (Isaiah 26:3)

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” (Romans 15:13)

Because Biden and Harris are seen as either communists or socialists, it can be a trying time for those of us who enjoy our freedoms. But nearly every week we hear from doubters and naysavers who express despair and forget Who is in charge. Personally I find comfort when I dwell on the Kingdom , being under the Kingship of our King, and it’s close expectation.

Those winds are held back brethren(Rev. 7), let us not forget! And we are told that ONLY when that great world war over the middle comes and the Lord shall do His “strange work” that the great time of trouble begins NOT before.

“The LORD will rise up as he did at Mount Perazim, he will rouse himself as in the Valley of Gibeon– to do his work, his strange work, and perform his task, his alien task.” (Isaiah 28:21)

And if you are Seventh-day Adventist, you better be ready and sealed in your forehead because DURING that great war the Lord will “suddenly come to His temple”. Let us read —

“Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the Lord of hosts.

But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner’s fire, and like fullers’ soap: And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness.

Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the Lord, as in the days of old, and as in former years. And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith the Lord of hosts.” (Malachi 3:1-5)

In closing, this gut punch, this great injustice and theft of our election is not to be dwelled upon and cause us to be “down in the dumps” though we may feel the pain. We should have our minds on Who is in control and where we are going, God willing –His Kingdom.

“And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.

And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.” (Isaiah 2:2-3)

1 — Is the Covid Vaccine going to be the mark of the beast, because we could soon lose our right to go places or shop without it, according to some reports?

Absolutely not. The present truth message from Scripture, SOP, and the Rod is clear beyond doubt that the mark of the beast will be the Sunday Law. This we believe is just one of the New World order Globalist’s plans to get complete control of the population through this large scam known as Covid 19. Soon people will refer to it as Covid 19-21, we think! Yes, it’s real but WAY overblown by main-stream media (which is largely owned by the Globalist elites).

We know that very quickly the King of the North, the world’s leader who currently controls the Holy Land, through the Zionist movement and also much of the New World Order plans shall —

“And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain, yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.”(Daniel 11:45)

2 — Now that it looks like Donald Trump will relinquish his role as president, does it look like Joe Biden will be the 666 man?

From what we gather, no it does not. First, in regards to this past election, Biden and Harris are truly an infiltration administration by way of thievery. The voter fraud committed, particularly with the seven contested states is mind-boggling. But we must remember the Lord approves or disapproves such circumstances and the outcomes —

“He changes times and seasons; he deposes kings and raises up others. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning.” (Daniel 2:21)

Also , though slim right now as we write this, Trump still has his “Trump Card”, in that the military could get involved if released sensitive information is made public prior to the inauguration. For instance, we know that the votes were sent overseas during and after the election (into Germany) for nefarious reasons then sent back into the USA system for counting and published to the media. To what extent, we aren’t sure as of right now.

But regardless, if Biden does manage to take it by fraud, he cannot be seen as a strong candidate for the 666 man as spoken of in Rev. 13. This man is to be both charismatic, very influential, etc, which is not even close to the character of Biden. His mental agility is seriously lacking and can be seen only as a figurehead at this point, with behind the scenes (no doubt Globalist’s schemers) sources pulling the strings.

3 — With the Boden administration in charge, how will the events of the middle east develop?

As Biden was the VP of Obama, he most likely will be more lenient to Iran than was Trump. But make no mistake Iran will still have pressure predominantly from Israel. Netanyahu is very anti Iran, and as long as he remains in power Iran will have much pressure. Also let’s remember that Great Britain (through the Rothchilds) still controls the Holy Land and that we are sure to see the following take place —

“Gather together, gather yourselves together, you shameful nation, before the decree takes effect
and that day passes like windblown chaff, before the Lord’s fierce anger comes upon you,
before the day of the Lord’s wrath comes upon you.

Seek the Lord, all you humble of the land, you who do what he commands. Seek righteousness, seek humility; perhaps you will be sheltered on the day of the Lord’s anger. Gaza will be abandoned and Ashkelon left in ruins. At midday, Ashdod will be emptied and Ekron uprooted. Woe to you who live by the sea, you Kerethite people; the word of the Lord is against you, Canaan, land of the Philistines.He says, “I will destroy you, and none will be left.” (Zeph. 2:1-5)

Let us also remember once the war commences, DURING that war the prophecy of Ezek. 9 will take place.

 “..while the powers of earth are engulfed in a gigantic war, the wicked in the church shall be cut off, no more to pass through her.” (Tract 14, p.22)

Bottomline, whatever administration is at the head of the USA, the war will happen and logically that leader at that time will be the 666 man. The following shows this —

“Having only two horns, not ten, the beast therefore  depicts a local, not a universal, government.  Nevertheless, he will influence all Christendom  to “make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live”; that is, he will engineer a world-wide governmental setup, re-enthroning the principles of the church-state rule of Ecclesiastical Rome.  Being the restorer of these principles, he, along with the prophet, will become the world’s chief dictator, and shape not only the political and the religious policies of the governments, but also the world’s commerce.  He shall decree “that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” Rev. 13:17.

   This beast represents a man who stands at the head of a nation, and whose influence goes far and wide among the kings of the earth. He is further identified by a number — the mystical  number “six hundred threescore and six.” Rev. 13:18. (2 SRod, p.151)

4 — Under the Biden administration, are our freedoms going to be more constricted, particularly with his Covid plans?

It certainly looks that way. He has already stated that he wants to implement a “national law” making masks mandatory during this Covid crisis. Also, like it or not, Democrats have largely been the party of rules and regulations, down through our USA history. Again the idea that the people of the USA voted in record-breaking numbers so huge (they say 80 million) is utterly the most crocked up baloney an election has ever seen!

But take heed the Lord has told the four angels to keep those winds held UNTIL the 144,000 are disclosed to view (upon the Ezek. 9 church judgment and that war). Thus when that happens the “great controversy” as SOP wrote will indeed take place. Two sides then will take the field, the saints army (144,000) and the 666/False prophet army.

Let’s be ready for the Lord’s Word says —

“Great changes are soon to take place in our world …The final movements will be rapid ones “(LDE, p.11)

Throughout our history we have learned to cultivate, plant, hunt, harvest, fish, etc for our food. Food and drinks are so important to our life, that sad to say, most do not know the depth of just how important it is! This being the case our King made sure to bring us counsel on the right and wrongs of diet.

Before we share the most wonderful health information, we’d like to share a recent report we received on John the Baptist and infomation on his “Locust diet”.

“CAROB OR LOCUST INSECT?

Is there a herb or plant called “Locust” apart from the actual grasshopper or locust that John the Baptist may have eaten?

John’s clothes were made of camel’s hair, and he had a leather belt around his waist. His food was locusts and wild honey. – Matthew 3:4

Possibly, it will depend on the interpretation of Sacred Scriptures one desires to follow.

There are some, who believe that along with honey, St. John the Baptist ate the fruit of the carob tree also known as the locust bean (tree).

The carob (Ceratonia siliqua) is a flowering evergreen tree or shrub in the legume family, Fabaceae. It is widely cultivated for its edible pods, and as an ornamental tree in gardens and landscapes. The carob tree is native to the Mediterranean region and the Middle East.

1)The word “carob” comes from Middle French carobe (modern French caroube), which borrowed it from Arabic خَرُّوبٌ (kharrūb, “locust bean pod”)

2) Ultimately perhaps from Akkadian language kharubu or Aramaic kharubha, related to Hebrew harubh.

3) Ceratonia siliqua, the scientific name of the carob tree, derives from the Greek kerátiοn κεράτιον ‘fruit of the carob (from keras κέρας ‘horn’), and Latin siliqua ‘pod, carob’.

4) In English, it is also known as “St John’s bread”, as well as “locust tree”, (not African locust bean) the designation also applied to several other trees from the same family. Carob (Wikipedia)


The Oxford English Dictionary weighed in on John’s diet too. It says that the carob tree was nicknamed “locust” akris (plural, akrides in Greek) because of the shape of the pods and the way they clustered on the tree, and so John was therefore indeed dining on carobs, not actual locusts, together with his wild honey.“

Here we see the two brave leaders of God during the Exodus, Joshua and Caleb. Their story is profound and certainly a lesson for us today. Allow us to discuss the implications of standing up and speaking and also, sadly, not responding with silence.

“They gave Moses this account: “We went into the land to which you sent us, and it does flow with milk and honey! Here is its fruit. But the people who live there are powerful, and the cities are fortified and very large. We even saw descendants of Anak there. The Amalekites live in the Negev; the Hittites, Jebusites and Amorites live in the hill country; and the Canaanites live near the sea and along the Jordan.”

Then Caleb silenced the people before Moses and said, “We should go up and take possession of the land, for we can certainly do it.”

But the men who had gone up with him said, “We can’t attack those people; they are stronger than we are.” And they spread among the Israelites a bad report about the land they had explored. They said, “The land we explored devours those living in it. All the people we saw there are of great size. We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.”” (Number 13:27-33)

Caleb began his speech exhorting them to believe in the Lord and not doubt! Yet none of the multitude spoke up in defense of Caleb except Joshua! And Moses and Aaron lamented the doubt as well.

“That night all the members of the community raised their voices and wept aloud. All the Israelites grumbled against Moses and Aaron, and the whole assembly said to them, “If only we had died in Egypt! Or in this wilderness!  Why is the Lord bringing us to this land only to let us fall by the sword? Our wives and children will be taken as plunder. Wouldn’t it be better for us to go back to Egypt?”  And they said to each other, “We should choose a leader and go back to Egypt.”

Then Moses and Aaron fell facedown in front of the whole Israelite assembly gathered there.  Joshua son of Nun and Caleb son of Jephunneh, who were among those who had explored the land, tore their clothes and said to the entire Israelite assembly, “The land we passed through and explored is exceedingly good.  If the Lord is pleased with us, he will lead us into that land, a land flowing with milk and honey, and will give it to us.  Only do not rebel against the Lord. And do not be afraid of the people of the land, because we will devour them. Their protection is gone, but the Lord is with us. Do not be afraid of them.”

But the whole assembly talked about stoning them. Then the glory of the Lord appeared at the tent of meeting to all the Israelites.” (Numbers 14:1-10)

The great lesson here is that when it came time to be of courage and PUBLICLY speak up, just a couple did! The great multitude’s rebellion and many with their silence was deafening and proved their demise.

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”(Duet. 31:6)

We bring this lesson up to relate it to a recent experience yours truly had with a brother we’ll call BJ (brother James –alias).

The Lord used BJ as the messenger to bring me into this message way back in May of 2011. One day after Sabbath services I was home on the computer searching for something to read. I saw this advertisement saying “Do you want to know more about the 144,000”? This got my attention as I didn’t know much about the teachings surrounding this subject.

I clicked — and my life was changed! I was about to enter a new life, on the road to His kingdom, Lord willing. The link led me to Mt.Dale’s brother Glenroy Matthews’ study of “The 144,000, who are they?” Truth like I had never experienced flooded my soul and I knew that the gracious all seeing Lord had guided me into a new chapter in my life.

This link was provided by BJ. I reached out to him for more information and where the study had come from, who did it? He provided some information on Mt. Dale organization and I made contact with them. As this was Truth like I had never heard before I wanted all they had and soon a large package arrived with more studies and written material.

But as I learned more the thought came to me –why hadn’t BJ put more of the message on his site? Confused I contacted him and was told that those studies are “Shepherd’s Rod” and that the church doesn’t believe in them. I said “huh?” But I didn’t make much of it and went my way and BJ went his.

Fast forward to a few weeks ago. On FaceBook brother BJ has been one of my friends for many years (about 10 if I recall) but we have not spoken much at all over the years. He posted something which caught my eye. He was involved in a new documentary of some type (don’t remember off hand what it was). But it reminded me about how the Lord used him to bring me into His marvelous light. So as I was feeling grateful, I thought I would reach out to him to say hello and remind him of being used by the Lord for helping yours truly get going to work in His vineyard.

I asked him if he’d had a chance over the years to look into the message. I know he has read our blog posts as we received his comment several years ago.

After I posted – -Silence. Nothing at all received to this day! FB has this little sign that shows if people have read your chat message, and he did. To this day –nothing. As I pondered this silence I remembered the masses of people in the crowd that heard Caleb and Joshua that fateful day, yet did the same thing! SILENCE.

Out of that great multititude, ONLY TWO, made it to the promised land that were over 20 years old –Joshua and Caleb. The Lord did not reward silence!

Had just ONE person raised their hand and said “I am with these brothers!” That one would have secured his soul, he would not have been a participant of the great destroying silence or outright rebellion against God’s prophets. So it is today my brethren, many will find that their silence or ignorance will come to haunt them. Don’t let it be you!

“These things happened to them as examples and were written down as warnings for us, on whom the culmination of the ages has come.” (1 Cor. 10:11)

“For he says, “In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.” I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation.” (2 Cor. 6:2)

Brother Houteff wrote 9 short messages known as “Jezreel Letters”. They are labeled 1 to 9. Each has a message of importance to us Seventh-day Adventists. We are showing a portion of vol. 2. May you be blessed.

“Dear Fellow Member:

The only way for you to escape being taken by wolves in sheeps’ clothing is if you ever remember the fact that the Judgment message, the last before Christ comes the second time, is what made us a people; that is, because the message had come, and because it has to be proclaimed, we S.D.A.’s came on the scene, and we certainly want to stay there until the work is finished. We must not become a back number as did the Protestant churches since they rejected the messages one after another. God forbid that we should be “spued out” and lose so late in the day. And what is the truth of the Judgment?– {2JL 1.1}

The Judgment as you know is in two separate and distinct sections, one following the other—the Judgment for the dead first, and the Judgment for the living last. This we know is so and we must not let subversive influences, even if they be in Seventh-day Adventist’s garb, cause us to lose sight of this truth. Our part of the Judgment message since 1844 has been, as you know, to proclaim the Judgment for the dead, not for the living as yet. What is the Judgment for the dead?– {2JL 1.2}

We have been taught by Inspiration that it is to separate the good from the bad, not bodily, but in books, because before the resurrection, the dead have no being, or “portion” “in anything that is done under the sun.”—Eccl. 9:5, 6. This judgment work is to enable the angels to know who is to come up in the first resurrection, in the resurrection of the holy ones (Rev. 20:4, 5, 11-14), and who is to come up in the second resurrection, in the resurrection of the unholy ones. To this end declares Daniel “the Judgment was set, and the books were opened.” (Dan. 7:10.) {2JL 1.3}

Thus it is that Inspiration calls the judgment work, “the cleansing or the sanctuary” (Dan. 8:14); that is, each professor of religion that ever died since the beginning of sin, is now judged and the case of each decided either to bring him up in the first resurrection or in the second; either to blot out from the records the name of each impenitent sinner, or to blot out for ever from the Book the sins of each penitent sinner. This has been Heaven’s work since the year 1844, and every informed Seventh-day Adventist knows it. {2JL 2.1}

Now, since the message of the Judgment for the Living is of far greater importance than the message of the Judgment for the Dead, it is but expected that the Bible will have more to say about the latter than the former. This is so because the Judgment for the Living has to do with the living themselves, with the message bearers, rather than with the dead. In importance, therefore, there is no comparison between the two. How will we get the message of the Judgment for the Living?– {2JL 2.2}

The answer is clear to all: We will get it in the same way we got the one in 1844. Since it then came through Inspiration and through God’s own chosen instrumentality, it is certain that the additional message (“Early Writings,” p. 277), too, is to come in the same way; that is, by inspiration through God’s own chosen agency. Indeed Truth is never revealed in any other way but by Inspiration. See 2 Peter 1:20. {2JL 2.3}

As we had to hear the old message preached before we accepted it, we will have to hear the new message preached, and how shall we “hear without a preacher” (Rom. 10:14)? And as the old message was unpopular in its beginning, scoffed at, laughed at, ridiculed and scorned by men of station and influence, it is certainly expected that the new message and messengers, too, will be received and treated no better but even worse. Then it was strictly an

individual matter, no priest or prelate could meddle with the conscience of the other and so it must be now. Every soul is to make his own decision in his secret chamber with the aid of the Spirit of Truth. {2JL 2.4}

Is it possible for one to lose out when the message of the Judgment for the Living begins to sound, though he did not lose out when the message of the Judgment for the Dead sounded?—The Spirit of Prophecy answers thus: “We have nothing to fear for the future, except as we shall forget the way the Lord has led us, and His teaching in our past history.”—”Life Sketches,” p. 196. Yes, this is to be our only fear. Let us, therefore remember, and make positively sure that God is now to lead us in the same way as He did in 1844 and throughout the ages.

Make doubly sure that you follow no other kind of leadership, that you let no man divert your attention from this straight path—that you let no one lead you to believe that God is now leading through every Tom, Dick, and Harry. This we must not forget if we are to emulate and succeed the saints that have gone before us, and if we expect to be saved. If we forget this, then as sure as we stand, men will lead us away from God’s message and turn us against His messengers even as the Jewish priests made their followers turn against Christ.

God forbid that we should sin against the Holy Ghost by rejecting His message when It comes to us. Only by strictly following this Divine command can we be led right and survive the Judgment for the Living when it starts to “sever the wicked from among the just.” Matt. 13:49. {2JL 3.1}

What is the Judgment for the Living? and what happens with the righteous, and what happens with the wicked, after they are judged?—In His parables Christ illustrates that the righteous, as good fish, are put into vessels; as wheat, they are put into the barn; and as sheep, they go into life eternal—they are placed in absolute security

sealed for eternity. But the wicked, as bad fish, are cast out, as tares, they are burned up; and as goats, they are sent into everlasting punishment. “So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, and shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.” Matt. 13:49, 50. {2JL 3.2}

Here we see that the judgment work for the living is illustrated in several ways, and is variously called: “Judgment” (Dan. 7:10; Rev. 14:7; 1 Pet. 4:17); “Cleansing of the Sanctuary” (Dan. 8:14); “Purify His Temple” (Mal. 3:1-3); “Harvest” (Matt. 13:30); “Mighty sifting,” “purification of the church,” (5 T., p. 80). {2JL 4.1}

Concerning this judgment work, the Spirit of Prophecy has this to say: {2JL 4.2}

“…But the days of purification of the church are hastening on apace. God will have a people pure and true. In the mighty sifting soon to take place, we shall be better able to measure the strength of Israel. The signs reveal that the time is near when the Lord will manifest that his fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly purge his floor…. They have not had the light which has been shining in a concentrated blaze upon you. But, it may be under a rough and uninviting exterior the pure brightness of a genuine Christian character will be revealed.” – “Testimonies,” Vol. 5, pp. 80, 81. {2JL 4.3}

The story of Jesus observing the poor old lady , who despite being very poor gave what little she had. The Lord’s response is very telling! Let us read —

“And He looked up and saw the rich putting their gifts into the treasury, ² and He saw also a certain poor widow putting in two mites. So He said, “Truly I say to you that this poor widow has put in more than all;  for all these out of their abundance have put in offerings for God, but she out of her poverty put in all the livelihood that she had.” (Luke21:1-4)

This act and the Lord’s statements show us many many lessons! Let us break them down.

1) The lady was POOR. She had very little in the way of belongings or money.

2) She valued being responbilbe to the Lord even to the point of self sacrifice.

3) The Lord commended her for such faith in returning her tithes to Him.

4) This lesson is a powerful one for us today.

Recently, on our facebook ministry we corresponded with a close sister in the faith. She lives in a very poor part of the world, we’re talking VERY poor. Yet, she has found the Lord’s final message fo Elijah and , frankly, we can’t think of a believer more zealous and faithful then her.

In our talk, we mentioned that the Lord guided us to send a little something her way to help support her in her proclaiming the message. She was thrilled and very thankful. We told her its the Lord’s doing and we are just listening to His instructions. This soon led to the subject of tithes.

I made mentioned (as we have posted before) that because we have took seriously returning His money, the Lord has done His part and gave us great blessings and we want to share them. Let us remember that the Lord asks us to enter into a binding contract and He will do His part if we do ours. Let us read —

“Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.”(Mal. 3:10)

But is the above contract, just for those who are making decent money, or have so much bills that they don’t have anything ever, to return His money? The Lord sent us inspired words in regards to this question , let us read —

“IS SMALL INCOME TITHE EXEMPT?

Question No. 158:

As my income is very small, am I not exempt from paying tithe?

Answer:

God designed the plan of systematic benevolence so as to make it as equitable to the poor as to the rich, no more a tax on the mite than on the million. And we know of no Scriptural authority for exempting from tithe any income, however small. All, poor as well as rich, are given the privilege of returning to the Lord His own. Many with a “mite” income are paying both first and second tithe, and in return are receiving a rich bestowal of blessing.

Thus reason forces the conclusion that if one is not obliged to receive charity help in addition to his income (whatever its source) to cover his living expenses, then for him not to pay tithe is to cheat Himself of the abundant blessing which attends a faithful regard for the royal privilege of being one of God’s stewards.” (Answerer, vol. 5, p.68-87)

There you go! “however small” means we pay , rich or poor. But unfortunately our sister recently spoke to an official member of one of the large present truth organizations and she was told that because she is from a poor country there was no need to pay tithes. What?? I was flabergasted! Coming from a person with little light this is understandable but NOT from a seasoned present truth believer.

Again, Jesus’ commendation of the old lady is all we need to know here.

All are entitled to receive the blessings as spoken of in Mal. 3:10 but if the poor are told “don’t worry you don’t have to enter that agreement with the Lord”–wow! Let us keep this very powerful lesson of the two mites firmly in our mind and proclaim this lesson far and wide! We don’t need to deny it or excuse it away.

The ancient Israelites, as we know performed many sacrifices as part of the Ceremonial Law and custom. This we also know was the plan by God to point to the Savior. The type was to meet anti-type.

Yet something profound is found in the prophecy, so profound that, yours truly suggests it is one of the greatest mysteries yet to be revealed.

Before we delve into this, our final message of Elijah, the Lord’s Rod message is clear. The Lesson of Zech. 4 shows that TWO prophets in the Christian dispensation were to go into the Scriptures and bring forth the prophetic Word and give us “meat in due season”. The well known symbolic Chart of this prophecy was made by our last prophet–Victor T. Houteff.

You notice those big pipes taking oil (prophetic Truth) from the two trees (old and new testaments) as described in Zech. 4. This lesson is profound, as it warns us that these prophets are the ONLY ones able to go into the Bible and make interpretations of the prophecies. Yet sadly many, even some so called present truth believers don’t know or care to abide by the lesson!

A recent dialogue between present truth believers showed a perfect example of this. Let us now read the mysterious Scripture —

“And in the porch of the gate were two tables on this side, and two tables on that side, to slay thereon the burnt offering and the sin offering and the trespass offering.

⁴⁰ And at the side without, as one goeth up to the entry of the north gate, were two tables; and on the other side, which was at the porch of the gate, were two tables.

⁴¹ Four tables were on this side, and four tables on that side, by the side of the gate; eight tables, whereupon they slew their sacrifices.

⁴² And the four tables were of hewn stone for the burnt offering, of a cubit and an half long, and a cubit and an half broad, and one cubit high: whereupon also they laid the instruments wherewith they slew the burnt offering and the sacrifice.

⁴³ And within were hooks, an hand broad, fastened round about: and upon the tables was the flesh of the offering.” (Ezekiel 40:39-43)

And also —

¹⁸ And he said unto me, Son of man, thus saith the Lord God; These are the ordinances of the altar in the day when they shall make it, to offer burnt offerings thereon, and to sprinkle blood thereon.

¹⁹ And thou shalt give to the priests the Levites that be of the seed of Zadok, which approach unto me, to minister unto me, saith the Lord God, a young bullock for a sin offering.

²⁰ And thou shalt take of the blood thereof, and put it on the four horns of it, and on the four corners of the settle, and upon the border round about: thus shalt thou cleanse and purge it.

²¹ Thou shalt take the bullock also of the sin offering, and he shall burn it in the appointed place of the house, without the sanctuary.

²² And on the second day thou shalt offer a kid of the goats without blemish for a sin offering; and they shall cleanse the altar, as they did cleanse it with the bullock.

²³ When thou hast made an end of cleansing it, thou shalt offer a young bullock without blemish, and a ram out of the flock without blemish.

²⁴ And thou shalt offer them before the Lord, and the priests shall cast salt upon them, and they shall offer them up for a burnt offering unto the Lord.

²⁵ Seven days shalt thou prepare every day a goat for a sin offering: they shall also prepare a young bullock, and a ram out of the flock, without blemish.

²⁶ Seven days shall they purge the altar and purify it; and they shall consecrate themselves.

²⁷ And when these days are expired, it shall be, that upon the eighth day, and so forward, the priests shall make your burnt offerings upon the altar, and your peace offerings; and I will accept you, saith the Lord God.” (Ezek. 43:18-27)

Now why is this so strange? Well obviously it is describing what will take place in the PRE-MILLENIAL KINGDOM — that is why. We know that Jesus was the fulfillment of the blood sacrifices, yet the Word declares it shall begin anew in the soon to be set up Loud Cry Kingdom (?) A true mystery!

Now , what are we do here? Do we say “No Lord, we shall NOT have such things.” Or, “Lord, I do not know what this is about and wait upon your Kingdom to see.” Brethren the only safe course is the latter.

As we remember counsel that we are to take what the INSPIRED prophets get from the Bowl (Inspired interpretations), we, therefore, look to them for answers. Our last prophet, had just a few lines to say about them , let us read —

“..the antitypical temple is to be built (Ezekiel chapters 40-43) and the cities are to be spread abroad.” (Timely Greetings, Vol. 1, No. 11, page 11)

“… Ezekiel’s description of the mystic temple (chapters 40-47) which is yet to be built, could be the blueprint of Zerubbabel’s antitypical temple.” ( 1 TG, no.13, p.6)

Thus we see that Inspiration is silent to a large degree, just reaffirming that the anti-typical Temple shall be built according to the first temple (Zerubbabel). Therefore we have no basis upon which to take a stand –yes or no! The Word stands as it is.

Those who declare that the above prophecies are false based on so and so, are putting their own pipes into the Golden Bowl as it were.

“knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.” (2 Peter 1:20-21)
